Starting with 12 barn quilts for her family farm, Deanna Cole decided to share her love of the art. As owner of Green by Design, Deanna takes pride in each barn quilt, using MDO boards primed and painted with exterior paint. The current lead time is 10-14 days.

Located on a 25-acre farm, Karen creates barn quilts in her small workshop near her beloved horses. Using MDO board, each work of art is primed, painted, and sealed. The current lead time for Karen is 45 days.

TAMs DeSigns

Charlestown, Indiana

At TAMs DeSigns, barn quilts are made with top-quality materials to withstand the elements and give you years of enjoyment. The process begins with MDO board, primer and white exterior base, followed by at least 2 coats of each exterior color. Finally, your art will receive 3 coats exterior sealant. The current lead time is about 30 days.

Each of Amber's barn quilts are hand-painted on ½ inch MDO board. She caulks the edges and seal the barn quilt with a water-based spar urethane sealer. Amber's current lead time is 2 to 4 weeks.

Deanna is excited to bring the love of barn quilts to Southeast North Carolina. Each custom work is painted on 3/8" plywood that is primed on both sides with 4 coats of primer, followed by 4 coats of paint to achieve a smooth, vibrant finish. Her current lead time is 2-3 weeks.

Rusty Shed Designs was created by co-designers Brenda Rose and Kelly Graser.  The long time crafters fell in love with barn quilts years ago, and decided to begin sharing the art with others. The team's barn quilts are hand-painted on aluminum composite board and sealed for exceptional waterproofing and UV protection.

Angie uses durable MDO board and high quality exterior paints to provide an all weather board. She loves experimenting with colors, designs and sizes. Upon receipt of an order, Angie will usually be able to produce the final piece within a few weeks.

BLBQ continues to develop new ways to innovate and create barn quilts. Outdoor quilts are designed to last, using MDO plywood and a sealer to increase longevity. Indoor quilts are made from sanded plywood and come ready to hang. Current lead time is 2 to 3 weeks.

Anne Young first discovered her love for barn quilts after traveling a barn quilt trail in Southern Ontario. As a quilter and painter, the connection for Anne was natural. She uses exterior plywood to create her art and currently has a lead time of 2 to 3 weeks. 

As owner of EL Barn Quits, Emma's favorite part about her job is drawing out the designs. She says "the more challenging - the better!" Every piece is made with MDO board and she currently has a lead time of approximately 3 weeks.
