My fascination with barn quilts began 40 years ago when I met and married a man from Kentucky. Over the years as we traveled, I occasionally spotted a barn quilt and always commented that I wanted to try and paint one. Fast forward to 2020 when I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma around the same time COVID hit. I was housebound and bored, so I started painting barn quilts to keep myself busy.
Now I’m addicted!
I use high-quality MDO, Birchwood, Outdoor Plywood, and Pine. All boards are caulked, sanded, primed, painted, and sealed. My lead time is approximately 2 weeks once I begin.
