Class Description

A guided step-by-step through the process of creating your very own barn quilt masterpiece. No experience necessary – just sign up, log in, and let your creativity flow! You will learn all aspects of materials, tools and techniques for a long lasting weatherproof and fade resistant barn quilt. This online class will be provided via Zoom. You will be able to join in this virtual class and get one on one instruction from, Talara Parrish. The forum will allow you to work on your barn quilt from home while having the opportunity for interaction with Talara along the way. The class is limited to six attendees and you will be able to work at your own pace. How it works: Option 1) Purchase your own materials and join us for instruction. Option 2) Purchase your Barn Quilt Kit that includes the following: * 2 x 2 Sanded, and primed Aluminum Composite * Drawing instruction for your choice of 18 patterns. * Paint colors of choice from site: https://www.barnquiltheadquarters.com/colors * Roll of Green Frog Tape * 1.5" Paint Brush and a small brush * Sealer Cost including shipping - $120 Here is the link to order your kit: You will need to provide a razor knife (do not recommend an xacto craft knife) & a paint pad for applying the sealer. These are available at Lowes or on Amazon (link). You will also need a Crayola colored pencil and pink eraser. A Lazy Susan is also a benefit. The class will be 3 sessions and you will sign up for each separately Choose the time and date that works best for you. Each session is $15, therefore you can pick and choose which ones you want to attend. This is a great opportunity if you are unable to attend a class locally or just don't have the time for a full day. You will be able to pace yourself and schedule each session as you are ready to proceed in the process of painting your barn quilt. Once you register for this class, Session 1: Drawing and Painting, you will register for the remaining ones. An confirmation email will include the zoom link for the scheduled date and time.
