Barn Quilt Inspired

I travel a considerable bit and always working even when I am not in the studio. I offer my assistance to beginners, and experienced artist alike. I am constantly being creative and I wish I had the time to paint all the images in our head. Don't we all?

I had to spend quite a bit of time sitting with my grandfather in his last few weeks of his life. He had some medical issues and ended up in rehab and my mom and felt the need to be with him around the clock, especially towards the end. As anyone who had experienced this, knows how exhausting it can be for family but there is no other place you'd rather be.

What kept me going was my bag of adult coloring books and my obsession with every color Sharpe there is, size and thickness included. Coloring is great therapy and Lord knows, I need that. So is BQ painting but it is not a mobile craft for sure.

Grandpa always enjoyed seeing what I was working on and I was filling pages up quickly as time passed. But he often fussed at me because I rarely did any drawing. It was true, I seldom picked up a pencil and paper anymore like I used to. As any artist knows, you have to be in the mood. (Reminds be of a saw I painted for him that took 13 yrs)- another blog....

As a result, I was inspired to pick up my sketch pad and do a little "doodling". I decided I would make my own Adult Coloring book with my sketches and publish it. Not to make money, just because I had these now, so what do I do with these?

So I am happy to announce that the project is done. I completed the drawings a year or so ago but been lazy about getting it to print. But it is now in production and I am accepting Pre-Orders shortly. My web designer is working on the page now and I should have it up and working in a day or so.

It will be available for $16.99 but after July 4th, it will be the regular price of $24.99. It had 30 inspirational images of quilt blocks and what relates to the name of each one.
