Class Description

Join us for another Barn Quilt Painting class and let's paint a 3x3'. You will learn the difference between a point based and grid based pattern. All participates will draw off their pattern and the same pattern. We have selected the "Wine & Dine" pattern for this class. It is a requirement that you have attended a previous beginner's class. Your beautiful weatherproof and fade resistant BQ can be used outdoors or as interior decor. Talara Parrish has painted over 4,000 barn quilts. She is the author of the Barn Quilt Addiction and Enabling the Addiction book. She will be releasing a new book in the fall of 2023. She also travels and rarely offers classes so this is a great opportunity. Talara will guide you step by step until the pattern is drawn and then painting will begin. Painting is therapy and wine is relaxing so look to have a great time in the class. The barn quilts will be painted on aluminum composite and sealed for durability. Prior to the class, you will be emailed and given a link to choose colors. . All materials and supplies will be provided. We have set aside 8 hours total. (if registration request a pattern choice, type N/A) A glass of wine and refreshments will be served. Please wear clothing that you don't mind getting a little paint on and comfortable shoes. You may find it more comfortable to stand for some of the process. Select your class from the following date is Sept 20, 2023. Class size is limited so register early. This one will fill up quickly. Cancellation Policy: If necessary to cancel, you will receive a credit towards a future class or the amount can be applied to any custom order, books, gift certificate or other item offered by Barn Quilt Headquarters.
