Class Description

Join us for a Barn Quilt Painting class and enjoy a day of creativity and fun. You will be able to choose from 20 different patterns and select your colors. Your beautiful weatherproof and fade resistant BQ can be used outdoors or as interior decor. NO PAINTING TALENT NEEDED! Talara Parrish has painted over 4,000 barn quilts. She is the author of the Barn Quilt Addiction, Enabling the Addiction, and Craving the Addiction books. She also travels and rarely offers classes so this is a great opportunity. Talara will guide you through the painting process and anyone can do it. She will have all patterns pre-drawn on the primed board and ready for painting. Painting is therapy and fellowship of friends enhances the experience, so look to have a great time in the class. The barn quilts will be painted on aluminum composite and sealed for durability. Prior to the class, you will be emailed instructions to confirm pattern and choose color options. All materials and supplies will be provided. Most patterns can be completed in 4-6 hours however take your time and have fun. We have set aside 8 hours total. Lunch is Pot Luck so bring a dish.
