The dresden plate quilt shown in my page is what got me started painting. My grandmother (who had the use of only one arm) hand sewed a bed quilt in this pattern for me for my wedding gift. I kept it on my bed for so long that it eventually wore thin. When she passed in 2001, I wanted to honor her memory, so I painted this quilt. People stopped in my driveway the very next day, asking where they

could get one. The rest is history.
